100. The Runners

In the name of God, the All Gracious, the All Merciful

 

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

                                        وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا

By the runners who breathe heavily,-

 

6146 3403 282 230 1684 2

                                          فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا

-then blaze a trail of fire,-

 

6147 3404 283 231 1685 3

                                        فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا

-then invade by the morning,-

 

6148 3405 284 232 4

                                            فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا

-then raise a cloud of dust,-

 

6149 3406 285 233 1686 5

                                         فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا

-then penetrate the midst altogether.

 

6150 3407 286 234 6

 

                                    إِنَّ الإنْسَنَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ

Surely the human being is unappreciative of his Lord.

 

6151 3408 287 235 1687 7

 

                                   وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ

And indeed he bears witness to this fact.

 

6152 3409 288 236 8

 

                                 وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

And indeed he loves money excessively.

 

6153 3410 289 237 9

 

                                    أَفَلا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ

Does he not know that what is in the graves will be resurrected,-

 

6154 3411 290 238 10

 

                                            وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ

-and all the secrets will be exposed?

 

6155 3412 291 239 1688 11

 

                                            إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ

Indeed, their Lord is All Cognizant of them on that day.
